I would not be surprised if Fedor finds a reason to not fight Overeem. I mean, why else would Brett Rogers have been fighting Overeem instead of Fedor? Rogers just lost to Fedor. He was not the #1 contender. Fedor was. And he's fighting Werdum.

The whole situation makes a LOT of fucking sense.

I will agree that he doesnt need to fight any of the UFC guys. He has 30 fights, I don't blame him for calling it a career. There is always going to be some new guy... And truth be told, it is the UFC that is blocking the fight, not Fedor. I am sure Strikeforce would be happy to co-promote a fight. With the UFC, the argument basically goes "well he wont sign an exclusive deal with us, so he is dodging Brock." I am sure Fedor would fight Brock if the UFC would let it happen. So I blame the UFC for that.

That doesn't change the fact that I want to see him lose before he retires though.

Why do you insist on Fedor fighting in the UFC? Until a year ago the UFC's HW division was absolute crap .Mir ,Timmy,Couture and AA were running it and 2 of those 4 Fedor has beat.

Fedor makes 1-1.5 million a fight ,Dana's not going to pay him that so why sign your life away to fight for less?

If the UFC had a dominate champ that had reigned for years I would say yes Fedor and the UFC champ need to fight but the UFC champ has a 4-1 record and hasnt even fought himself in a year.

Once the UFC HW's fight each other and sort out a true champ then I think it would be time for a superfight between Fedor and whoever the champ is just my opinion

I think that Fedor and his stupid ass management team are staying out of the UFC by asking the UFC to do ultra-retarded shit like build an arena in Russia, which they know the UFC will never agree to. Also, who the fuck is M-1 to ask to co-promote with the UFC? Have you seen any of M1's events?

It's like a little upstart software company that has one good product making demands of Microsoft.
