So Obama finally showed his birth certificate today. So we have a President's cabinet worrying about birth certificates but cant fix the economy , we have homeland security that cant stop 3 planes from hitting buildings but can shut down illegal streams (at least for a day) and we have the FBI who cant stop hard drug being imported but can shutdown poker sites.

At least they have their priorities straight

For instance, Jennum over Melton Bowen? Armlock.

I thought armlock was pressure caused to the shoulder and armbar was to the elbow joint. I could be wrong though . Put up the video of Jennum -Bowen for us to see

Well there are certainly "armlocks" that have nothing to do with armbars, but I know what Jennum did to Bowen was an armbar.

Also, Gracie's win over Jason DeLucia at UFC 2 is recorded as an "armlock," but the recent Where is he now? Sherdog article on DeLucia properly calls it an armbar.

This is a trend in the early UFCs. At UFC 2, 3, 4, UU95, UFC 13, and UFC 20 there are armlocks recorded. After that, the "armlock" pretty much disappears. The weird thing though is that it's not like they didn't know what an armbar was, because they have armbar wins as far back as UFC 4, which is where the first "armbar" pops up.

^^^^^^^I dont know X if you pause it right a 6:20 it looks like a armlock. His arm isnt straight and the pressure is on the shoulder it looks like to me rather than the elbow.You'll have to get MMAscientist for this one but it looks like an armlock to me

I think he didn't have it on as well as he could have, but that's the closest thing to a textbook armbar that I've ever seen. His hips just weren't quite in the right place.

It's actually not that much different from GSP's armbar on Hardy.

Trust me, that's a fucking armbar. There's no technique that you do like that called an "armlock."
