Don't know, I am pumped about Silva/Okami and Rua/Griffin and Schaub/Nog. I am also wanting to see Palhares/Miller. The fights I don't care to see that much, I have bets on. I watched the countdown and Sonnen was on MMA Live last night. I am ready to go, going to pick up some BBQ and do tha damn thing. -
Coleman won by TKO when Shoguns arm broke during a takedown. That's not exactly finishing an opponent.Leave a comment:

Decision. Forrest really only ever finishes by submission, but that shit is not happening again.Leave a comment:

Hubris up in this motherfucker!
So if Griffin wins, does he take a decision or does he finish Shogun?Leave a comment:

On a side note, this is as excited as I have been for an event in a while. I am even going to pay for it.Leave a comment:

I honestly don't think he thinks that way. You would think the last thing he wanted to do was lose the title but he came in unprepared and looked like shit after the first minute and a half of the fight. There is no underestimating Shoguns hubris at this point.Leave a comment:

Forrest is the only underdog that I actually think is going to win the fight. I like some of the odds on some of the other dogs, but I think Forrest is more than 50%. Shogun is just too small for Forrest. Forrest said he is coming to play jj with him. I think he is going to look to grapple the from the get go.Leave a comment:

I'm hoping that Shogun can just stay away from him and nullify any attempts at a grappling match.
It's also worth bearing in mind that the last thing Shogun will want to do is lose in front of a Brazilian crowd, so I expect he'll have a little more mental tenacity this time than usual.Leave a comment:

Of course the KO is always possible, but I don't think it's going to come if not very early on. Once they start to loosen up I don't think Rua will have as much zing behind his punches, especially once he starts getting tired. You know as well as I do Forrest is going to make him work if he doesn't get crushed by the opening blitz.Leave a comment:

The thing about Forrest is that it only takes one good punch to begin a downward spiral toward a TKO.
We saw this in his fights with Jardine, Rashad and Silva, and I would not at all be surprised to see it happen again here. Shogun, after all, is the only man to ever knock out Machida, who's a lot faster and craftier than Forrest.Leave a comment:

I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that Shogun was already on weight the morning of the day before weigh ins. But I like Forrests chances if he can avoid getting nuked in the first three minutes anyway.Leave a comment:
