Nah. Nothing good comes from dehydrated fighters fighting.
I understand that but Johnson dehydrated to 187 yesterday but it looked like his body was shutting down so they had to give him fluids. When he weighed in at 197, he was already rehydrated. Now allowing to gain another 8lbs by fight time is pretty lenience. Like Luke said, the target was 185, not 197.
btw, I'm thinking of putting something on Carlo Prater. Anyone think he can upset this Sivla guy?
Well, probably not. But I think there's just enough chance that he can turn it in to a clinch-wrestle-fest that I'm definitely not betting on Silva.
I was wondering the same thing. I haven't really seen much on either one of those guys though. Everyone talks about Silva like he is the next best thing but Carlo has a lot of EXP. With the line the way it is I won't be betting Silva.
I am waiting to place my bets. At this point the only bet I am definetly going to place is Tavares. I am thinking about Aldo but I am worried he will get outwrestled/gas. Palhares line is kinda silly. I think Pyle wins as well. Is anyone worried that Massenzio can stuff Palhares for three rounds? I am probably going to stay away from Vitor/AJ. That one is too hard to call.
I do wonder if, as supposedly happened with Hallman, Dana implied that if Johnson wants to keep his job, he has to put on an exciting fight (i.e. not lay and pray Vitor for 15 minutes).
If that's the case, I could definitely see it affecting the outcome, since Rumble's best plan by far is to try to keep Vitor on his back.

Could be. AJ is at least a minor draw because of the way he can just beat dudes up when he's on his A-game. Take that away and he's nothing special
