NFL Football Play of the Day November 28, 2013 6:01 AM by GT Staff
Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys at 1:30 p.m. PST
Even though the Cows have been unbeatable in the past on Thanksgiving day going 11-1 SU and 10-2 ATS we find ourselves in a spot that we must take the points with the hard trying Raiders as the Cows win streak was broken last year when losing 38-31 telling us that a new streak could be starting, a losing turkey day streak. The Raiders have a very good offense and have gone 13-3 ATS as road dog when coming off a loss.

NFL Football
304 Detroit Lions -6½: The Packers season just maybe over and the Lions would love to put an end to it on Thanksgiving day and give the sold out crowd something to cheer about when eating that turkey. Even though in the past the Visitor in this turkey day match up has ruled but Thanksgiving day home favorites looking for revenge have gone 14-1 ATS, the Lions get their wish bone.
305 Oakland Raiders / 306 Dallas Cowboys OVER 45½: The Cowboys have been outgained 153 yards a game since game seven and the Raiders will have no problem getting in the end zone, we look for a high scoring contest.
307 Pittsburgh Steelers +3: This series has always been close with a field goal deciding most games between the Steelers and the Ravens. Baltimore has had a tough time putting points on the board and the Pittsburgh defense was solid last week and their offense has opened it up. This is a must win game for them in order to stay in the hunt for a wild card.
NCAA Football
309 Texas Tech / 310 Texas OVER: The Redd Raiders from Lubbock can score but their only problem is that they can’t stop an ant giving up an average of 44 points a game in their last six games.
311 Mississippi -4: The money has been rolling in on Ole Miss and we will follow the money in this game as Mississippi State has gone 1-10 ATS when playing in a weekday game.
NCAA Basketball
823 Creighton -3½: It was almost a year to the day when Creighton beat up on Arizona State, we think history will repeat.

NFL
Raiders at Cowboys
The Cowboys look to keep the momentum gained from last week's win over the Giants as the
Oakland Raiders come to town. One thing we can say for the Cowboys is that nothing seems to
be broken with their offense. They're averaging an NFC-high 34.6 points at home this season
while going 4-1. Meanwhile, the Raiders have been offensively challenged for much of this season,
scoring only 19.4 ppg and even worse on the road, where they only average 18.6 ppg. We do
understand that this play also goes against a couple of systems that would back the dog here,
but we just think that Dallas is going to score a lot of points here and we don't think that the
Raiders offense, led by rookie QB Matt McGloin, can keep up. We know the Cowboys defense has
been injury-riddled and maligned, but the Raiders offense isn't exactly the next coming of the
Saints and we think the defense does enough to help the Cowboys secure a double digit win. The
Sharps say...
3 UNITS - DALLAS COWBOYS (-8)
