      by Thomas

      Latest Odds : FSU -3 Total 45

The Florida State Seminoles continue to struggle to find success this season. Florida State is 2-4 on the year and lost last week to Louisville 31-28 on their home field. Free Betting Pick: Florida State Seminoles -3

Tulsa at SMU 10/27/17 - College Football Picks & Predictions

        by Mike

        Latest Odds : SMU -10 Total 75.5

Tulsa flashed some life against UConn, making significant progress on defense in a 20-14 loss - which was the Golden Hurricane's fifth in the last six outings. SMU isn't giving anyone visions of the Pony Express Era, yet it looked solid again in a 31-28 defeat of Cincinnati.

Chad President has completed 56 percent of his passes this season for 809 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He's been sacked five times. He's also a weapon, rushing for seven touchdowns.

The ground game is the backbone of the Tulsa attack, which registers 32.6 points per game. It's a two-headed monster, led by D'Angelo Brewer with 862 yards and seven touchdowns. Shamari Brooks averages 5.9 yards per carry, has 668 yards and nine touchdowns. On the season, Tulsa has 28 rushing TDs in the nation's 14th best ground game. The Golden Hurricane allows 37.6 ppg, making it one of the nation's worst units.

SMU's offense has the opposite emphasis with strong-armed quarterback Ben Hicks throwing for 1,967 yards and 17 touchdowns. He's completed 60 percent and only been intercepted six times. Xavier Jones handles the running duties, scampering for 547 yards and four TDs. The top receiver is a beauty - Trey Quinn has 71 receptions for 773 yards and five TDs and will demand the full attention of Tulsa's top cover cornerback.

SMU's offense is among the nation's best - putting up 42 points per game (7th) while the defense surrenders 30 points per game on average.

        Recent Betting Trends:
Golden Hurricane are 8-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Mustangs are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 Friday games.
Over is 25-10 in Golden Hurricane last 35 games on fieldturf.
Over is 4-1 in Mustangs last 5 home games.

Free Betting Pick: SMU Mustangs -10

This Tulsa team has been huge disappointment this season and just can't see it changing on the road this week. SMU had confidence building road OT win last week and Mustangs keeps it rolling this week. Final Score Prediction, SMU Mustangs win and cover ATS 33-20.

Following a solid victory over Montreal, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (5-11) are looking forward to next season. The Tiger-Cats 17th and second to last game of the, 2017 campaign is against the Ottawa Redblacks and the Tiger-Cats hope to play spoiler to a Redblacks team looking to clinch a playoff birth.

Running neck in neck with the Toronto Argonauts, the Ottawa Redblacks (7-9-1) play host to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Aiming to defend their Grey Cup Title, the Redblacks must defeat the Tiger-Cats to keep pace with Toronto.

Alouettes at Roughridgers 10/27/17 - CFL Picks & Predictions

            by Mike

            Latest Odds : SSK -16.5 Total 52

With a league worst 3-13 record, the Montreal Alouettes are eager for the 2017 season to be over. The Alouettes travel to Saskatchewan to battle the Roughriders in a game that has seeding implications for Saskatchewan and little meaning for Montreal.

Darian Durant is the quarterback for the Alouettes and has thrown for 3107 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions on the season. B.J. Cunningham has been a solid receiving threat for Montreal in 2017 and leads the team with 60 receptions for 960 yards and 4 touchdowns. Running back Tyrell Sutton has been solid when healthy for the Alouettes and has 144 carries for 798 yards and 5 touchdowns on the year.

Sitting at 9-7, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have clinched a playoff birth but are fighting the Edmonton Eskimos for seeding. Currently sitting one game behind Edmonton, the Roughriders need to defeat Montreal in order to keep pace with the Eskimos.

Veteran Kevin Glenn has had a comeback season for the Roughriders and has thrown for 3871 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions on the season. Both Duron Carter and Naaman Roosevelt have over 1000 yards in receiving for the Roughriders. Bakari Grant currently sits at 969 yards receiving and is only 31 yards away from being the third Roughrider to cross the 1000 yard plateau. Cameron Marshall leads the Roughriders in rushing with 543 yards and 2 touchdowns.

            Recent Betting Trends:
Roughriders are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in Week 19.
Over is 4-0 in Alouettes last 4 games overall.
Under is 5-1 in Roughriders last 6 games overall.
Over is 4-1 in Roughriders last 5 games following a ATS win.

Free Betting Pick: Montreal Alouettes +16.5

The first game this year was nice home win by Montreal 17-16 and even though we have Saskatchewan getting the revenge win it's going to be close again. Grab the bunch of points with the visitor Alouettes. Final Score Prediction, Saskatchewan Roughriders win but fall short ATS 24-22.

Dodgers at Astros 10/27/17 - World Series Game 3 - MLB Picks & Predictions

              by Eddie

              Latest Odds : HOU -125 Total 8.5

The 2017 MLB World Series will switch venues on Friday night, as the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros play Game Three from Minute Maid Park. The Dodgers took the series opener behind a solid effort from SP Clayton Kershaw, but their bullpen let them down during Wednesday’s 7-6 loss in 11 innings. In a game that featured a World Series record eight home runs, Los Angeles closer served up the tying blow in the ninth inning to Marwin Gonzalez.

Thirty-one year old righty Yu Darvish (10-12 3.86 ERA) will head to the hill for the Dodgers on Friday night. Darvish has won both of this starts this postseason, while allowing just two runs and striking out 14 batters over 11 plus innings.

The Houston Astros have struggled to score runs on the road this season, but exploded when they need to in Game Two. Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa went deep in the 10th inning to give the Astros a 5-3 lead, but closer Ken Giles allowed two runs in the bottom of the frame. George Springer finally put an end to things with his two-run shot in the 11th inning that gave Houston a 7-5 lead.

The Astros will counter with hard-throwing righty Lance McCullers (7-4 4.25 ERA) in Game Three. McCullers has appeared three times this postseason, giving up six hits and three earned runs over 13 innings of work.

              Recent Betting Trends:
Dodgers are 4-1 in Darvishs last 5 starts.
Astros are 6-0 in their last 6 playoff home games.
Under is 6-1-1 in Dodgers last 8 road games.
Under is 9-4 in Astros last 13 home games.
Under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.

Free Betting Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers +115

Los Angeles 1B Adrian Gonzalez (back) is not traveling with the team this postseason. Through 162 games, Los Angeles ranked 22nd in batting average and 12th in runs scored. For the season, Houston ranked 1st in batting average and 1st in runs scored. Darvish has looked sharp this postseason, so play the Dodgers in Game Three. Final Score Prediction, Los Angeles Dodgers win 5-3.

                  # 3 FIRST DUDETTE 4/1

                  # 5 SILVER BAY 8/1

                  # 2 LA CHICA RIPOOL 3/1

FIRST DUDETTE looks quite good to best this field. Bennett has been tough as nails with two year olds, winning at a 31 percent clip. Decent shot today on Lasix. SILVER BAY - Cannot be overlooked - Hickey is a sharp conditioner with the babies, winning 25 of his races. There is a formidable chance that this entry's late pace will improve on Lasix. Hickey has a solid try every time he puts a 2 year old on the track. LA CHICA RIPOOL - Sharp conditioner with 2 year olds has given bettors good returns (+316 ROI) - very important in baby races. Could provide positive profits based on competitive recent Equibase Speed Figures with an average of 64. Don't overlook this filly in your wagers - very dangerous with Ruiz aboard.

NYOMAN - On October 11th this gelding shipped in to finish first and looks good right back. I am keen on that last effort on October 11th at Hawthorne where he ended up first. You have to really like that most recent race speed rating, 95, which is the top latest race speed figure of this group. SIDE POCKET - Smith has this gelding signed up for the ideal contest.

                    Vulnerable Contenders: #6 KYZAN (ML=7/2), #2 GOOD SAMURAI (ML=6/1), #5 OH OZ (ML=8/1),

KYZAN - Finished third in his most recent race with a somewhat easily forgotten speed fig. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to score after that in this group. GOOD SAMURAI - Not likely that this animal will finish better than he did last time when placing seventh. Won't be easy for this horse to beat this field off of that last speed rating. Improbable to improve enough to run a figure anywhere near today's class rating, so put him on the questionable challengers list. OH OZ - When you keep scanning through the TrackMaster pps and don't see a victory recently, you have to say to yourself, 'Not worth it on this animal'. You have to be concerned that this horse added wraps last out.

                    STRAIGHT WAGERS:

                        # 12 ALL I KARABOUT 9/5

                        # 15 APPA 8/1

                        # 11 MAN OF WIREGRASS 9/2

ALL I KARABOUT has a respectable shot to take this race. Is hard not to examine based on Equibase Speed Figures which have been respectable - 86 avg - of late. Ran a strong last race. Formidable average Equibase Speed Figs in turf route races make this animal a solid contender. APPA - Is a key contender - given the 82 speed rating from his most recent race. Has run solidly when running a turf route race. MAN OF WIREGRASS - With a nice Equibase class figure average of 93, has one of the strongest class advantages in this group. He looks very good in this slot and I expect will be on the front end or close at the halfway point.

COURT REPORTER - Contreras was aboard this filly last time out and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. TWENTYTWENTYCREST - This filly has a lot of ability on the turf. Could be long gone by the time they hit the top of the lane. This jockey and trainer are honest together. Win pct when teamed up is extremely hard to top. This mount wins a lot of money per start. I believe she will add to the lifetime total right here. Had a strong closing move last race out, running the last quarter in less than 25 seconds. A similar performance today, and it's straight to the winner's circle.

                          Vulnerable Contenders: #1 EVENT HORIZON (ML=3/1), #5 TREASURE FINDER (ML=4/1), #7 FIELD PARTY (ML=8/1),

EVENT HORIZON - Awfully hard to play this entrant when she hasn't been showing any indications of eagerness recently. TREASURE FINDER - Just cannot wager on this less than sharp equine. Didn't show me anything positive in the last race or on Sep 29th. This rallier looks to have almost no chance without a speed duel at the front. FIELD PARTY - Didn't hit the board on Sep 1st at Woodbine. Followed it up with another lackluster performance.

                              I think Fulham under 23 wins 2-1.
