I expect the Los Angeles Dodgers to take back control of this series with a victory in Game 3 after a tough loss in Game 2 after blowing a 3-1 lead late. And I certainly like the value we are getting with the Dodgers in the rare underdog role for them.

Yu Darvish can't be an underdog here because he has simply been lights out down the stretch. Darvish is 4-0 with a 0.88 ERA in his last five starts, giving up just 3 earned runs in 30 2/3 innings while striking out 35 and walking only 2 batters. Darvish has gone 5-5 with a 3.44 ERA and 1.067 WHIP in 14 career starts against the Astros.

He'll be opposed by Lance McCullers, who isn't used to going deep into games. He may need to because the Astros' bullpen clearly can't be trusted. Ken Giles (8.22 ERA), Chris Devenski (8.44 ERA), Joe Musgrove (7.36 ERA and Will Harris (.905 OPS allowed) have all struggled in the postseason. The Dodgers have the clear edge in the bullpen.

The Dodgers are 10-2 in their last 12 vs. a team with a winning record. Los Angeles is 21-5 in its last 26 games following an off day. The Astros are 1-8 in McCullers' last nine starts. Bet the Dodgers in Game 3 Friday.

Atlanta is in one of those weird spots here to start the season. They are playing their 6th game in 10 days and while I know it's early and everyone should be fresh they still have had travel every single game. Not to mention, they just played a hard fought game last night against the Bulls.
The Nuggets are a team that is really looking to bounce back here after a shaky start to the year. I know this may seem like a big number here with Denver, but Dennis Schroeder who makes the Hawks offense go looks to be out again tonight.
This is a good spot to back the Nuggets here

Free Pick on Raptors -
I like the value here with Toronto laying a relatively short number here on the road against the Lakers. The Raptors are one of the top teams in the east and aren't far off from the elite of the league. They proved that in their last two games, losing by just 4 at San Antonio and by 5 at Golden State. I believe we can bank on a big effort here from Toronto, as they aren't going to want to drop a third straight game and fall below .500 on the season.
I also think this is a good time to go against the Lakers. LA managed to erase a 10-point 4th quarter deficit and pulled out a 102-99 win after forcing OT on a last second tip-in to end regulation. Lakers have a habit of falling behind early, as they trailed the Pelicans by 20 in their previous game. There was also a little extra incentive for that game against the Wizards with the beef between the two teams surrounding Wall and Ball.
While Los Angeles has some nice young talent, their still a year away from being a real threat in the west. Raptors time to win is now and they are the much better team. Even if it's close, free throws at the end should provide the cover. Take Toronto!
