I think Mendes is a really good bet. His wrestling should be good enough to keep it standing and he should be very good at defending guillotines since he has been training with Team Alpha Male. I think he forces a standup fight where Cody is probably screwed. He claims he wants to make a point and finish the fight. Maybe Mendes tko? If they are on the feet for 15 minutes Cody could get beaten down long enough. Maybe I am wrong though. Mendeds hasn't really knocked out a lot of people.

Just opened at -450 / +300 on BookMaker. Yeah, if I had to bet it, I'd go Mendes.

yeah i put 9u on mendes. i think hes a lock. hes not the kind of guy who will fall for the mckenzietine although anything can happen in mma. i think Le will lose though bc of his gas tank and not enough power to hurt Cote. if he can somehow go hard for 3 rounds, then he can def beat cote with his striking skill but his gas tqnk sucks.

I think Cung le beats Cote. He should be a much better striker. Going by Cote's record he seems like he is mostly and standup fighter. He has a purple belt in Jiu jitsu. Cung le is supposed to be a very good wrestler, he did collegiate wrestling IIRC. Cung can probably force a stand up fight where he should hold an advantage.

Cung le was doing fine against Wanderlei up until he was knocked out. He was also entering that fight coming off of a big layoff. I would think he should come into this fight a little bit fresher.

I think Mike Easton's line looks decent. Menjivar hasn't looked that great but he does have a lot more experience. Tough call.

At the current line I'm staying away from Easton/Menjivar completely. I guess I favor Easton, but not by much, and I think anything could happen in that fight.

All my damn $ is tied up on bookmaker. Did not think Struve +205 would hold so I bet on that early...same with Boetsch +240. Oh well. If Cung Le is ~+200 on 5d I will play him. Mendes is going to end up like -625 or -650...sucks there is no good parlays for this card. Will Camoes be able to get Guillard down? Also, I am really hoping Alessio is a good sized dog...he has a decent chance against that can Roller

I thought mendes would be close to -1000. 5d wont open the line till wednesday or thursday though and im sure it will be close to -750 by then.

I do like Le at those odds seeing that Cote probably wont go for takedowns and Le may be able to avoid the big shot.
