I dont really have a problem with Fitches style. If I was a fighter, i dont really give a shit how I win, as long as I win.

It is probably how I would fight too (speaking of, I might be taking a fight in a few months). But that does not mean I have to like it.

If I was scoring his fights, he would have lost to Diego. He "wins" only because of the flawed scoring system. Same thing with Warren. If we are talking about who actually won a fight and not an MMA scoring contest, Warren is like 1-4.

BUT, prop bets have a tendency of screwing me over. . .

I completely understand on this one. Me too. I've actually NEVER won a prop. They always get fucked up for one reason or another. So yeah, if I actually bet on Fitch to win by decision, then he'd either lose or he'd get some crazy ass knockout.

I bet on Shogun getting quickest (T)KO of the night @ like +2500 or something crazy, and he had the only real (T)KO of the night... I lost because Jason Macdonald's leg fell off right away in the first round.

That is REAL fucked up.

He doesn't so much try to win fights as he does just be on top and wait for the bell.

This is how I see it. Though who knows. Maybe in reality he's out there really putting his all into it and thinking, "I've really gotta finish this guy!" and punching as hard as he can.

Yet Gray Maynard has a nickname. I find him less exciting than Fitch.

I dunno. Maynard's fight with Huerta was awesome. Though that probably had a lot more to do with Huerta than it did with Maynard.

On second thought, I think you are on to something.

Hazelett is @-110, I like that. Rick Story is a powerhouse though...Hazelett...not so much. Even though I was just talking about prop bets and their faults, I think a Hazelett by sub prop bet is good, I think that is the only way he will win. Oh, and apparently Hazelett is fighting against his doctors orders.

I actually find Mousasi to be an exciting fighter, though. And Randy's had some boring fights, but he's had some really good one's, too. I like to watch him.

I think everyone agrees that Mousasi brings the action... but I thought that confirmed my hypothesis that no nickname /= no exciting. Then I found out he did have a (lame) nickname. So now I believe nickname = action.

I like some of Randy's fights, but liek Maynard/Huerta, it is usually the other guy's ability to stuff his strategy that makes it exciting. If Randy had his way, all of his fights would look like his fight with Vera.

I originally said I thought Hazelett would sub Story. But again I was confusing fighters. I was getting Story confused with Brian Foster. These damn wrestlers all look the same.

Story is a brute and has never been subbed, despite being in there with Mario Miranda in his very first fight. I think Story will probably win... but Hazelett by sub might be a decent prop.

What does Story's striking look like? He might actually be worth a bet if Dustin is fighting against medical advice.

Apparently Dos Anjos was rumored to be off the card, but he is still fighting. His camp says it is a "minor illness". I have a feeling the line will shift a little.
