I was listening to Beatdown After the Bell on Sherdog today and they were lamenting the disorganization of the tournament. In fact, they expressed concerns that it would even be finished. I hope those concerns are unfounded.

I think we will definitely see Barnett in the finals though assuming he doesn't fail a drug test/can't get licensed/whatever bullshit goes on with him. I am really looking forward to Bigfoot/Ubereem though. They better not wait until 2012 for that shit.

I wouldn't think he was the best LW fighter in the world. But that doesn't mean he shouldn't be ranked #1, he beat the #1 fighter. It's not like that #1 ranking would last long anyways unless he really was some kind of nerdy phenom.

Agreed. But Ubereem=K-1 champ, Mirko/Pat Barry=they did some kickboxing in K1. But imo and from what I have seen, K1 striking doesn't mean it will transfer well into MMA. Scott Lighty was a K1 level striker and got out struck like crazy by Lorenz Larkin
