Fail........again . That's not even close to being a good excuse . Werdum lost to AA 4 years ago back when AA was still a top 5 fighter .Werdum just beat Big foot and Fedor in his previous 2 fights before Overeem so how can he be ranked behind them?

I'm just ranking who I think is better than who.

PP: Yeah, Brock was #1, but that #1 ranking was a joke. Kind of like ranking Serra #1 because he beat GSP. In fact, Sherdog refused to do so and put him at #2. Bottom line, I think that if Brock fought them tomorrow, everyone I listed ahead of him would beat him.

BOL!!! I didn't even notice that. I know SPX is going to respond:

    1. Cain
    2. JDS
    3. Bigfoot
    4. Fedor
    5. Barnett
    6. Overeem
    7. Werdum
    8. Brock
    9. Carwin

No, you're actually right. The only argument I can make for Carwin is that he beat Mir, who was probably #4 or #5 back then, lost to Brock who was ranked higher than him and lost to JDS who was ranked higher than him. So Carwin basically didn't move much. As for Mir..kind of the same thing. He was probably #3 or #4 (what was the seemingly consensus rank on Big Nog before UFC 92?) going into UFC 100, lost to #2 Brock, then beat Kongo which did nothing for him, then lost to Carwin who's last win was Gonzaga (was he top 10 before UFC 96?), then beat Cro Cop and Roy Nelson which basically did nothing.

And I don't know. This is what's hard about making MMA rankings. May as well just make rankings for the UFC and Strikeforce. It really does leave too much speculation because those guys don't fight/haven't fought each other.

I also don't see what him winning or losing against Cain has anything to do with whether or not he would beat Overeem.

JDS won't beet Overeem for so many reasons. It doesn't even matter though because JDS isn't going to beat Cain.
