Roy could win any number of ways. We haven't seen JDS hit by a solid striker with Roy's power yet. We also haven't seen someone with Roy's takedowns and ground game get their hands on JDS yet either. Gonzaga is a great grappler but his takedowns suck ass. Roy could very well win that fight.

I agree with Ludo. Roy would be smart to go straight for a takedown ,I think JDS would be done for on the mat .If not the takedown put a ton of pressure on JDS and get him backing up . JDS's foot work blows so its not real hard to hit him.
I like Roy's value but I cant get out of my head that horrible fight he had against Justin Wren. Then I remember him getting knocked out against Arlovski. Junior Dos Santos boxing is light years ahead of Arlovski's in terms of MMA effectiveness. I see this fight like Cain vs Nog, Roy is Nog, the underdog with great value, but getting lit the fuck up in the first round and everyone saying JDS is the next best thing.
I rewatched JDS/GG last night. I still have questions about JDS's ground game. Gonzaga too him right down. JDS bellied out on the takedown wrestler style... he had no intention of staying down. His plan was to give his back. I have always maintained that heavyweights should always give their backs and get up instead of playing guard. So I like his gameplan, but not sure it will work against Roy. Roy is probably going to put him on the fence and lean on him for a while and try to take him down slow and controlled. If he is against the fence, he is going to have trouble hitting a standup like he did against GG.
I am probably going to stay away, because I do think JDS is going to win. But I would not be surprised at all if Roy pinned him or subbed him.
