Yeah. The first time, though, you could say Cantwell was green. Then he went and improved his game and came back and did his thing. By the time their UFC fight went down, he should've been Super Cantwell and easily beaten Stann. Seems like Stann's the one who did all the improving, though.

I have always felt that Stann was overrated. But he does have some power on his feet, and he is obviously improving every time. He keeps proving me wrong, so I guess he has made a believer out of me.

I don't Mir's personality/persona. I think Mir is a good fighter, I am just surprised everytime he beats someone good. I don't doubt Mir's ability, its just that it always seems like he is fluking out. I think I get that feeling about guys that win fast. Mir always seems to get his big wins in round one by total destruction... Or he gets his ass beat impressively.

yeah, its just like, there is no way he is THAT much better than Nog. Or Is Mir really a better striker than Kongo? I mean Mir dropped Kongo on the first punch. I think the way he wins is like, he got lucky. He might have won if the fight drug out longer, but he is not THAT good. If he were, his skill alone would have allowed him to dispatch Dan Christionson (who I haved rolled with a lot btw) or Vera.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I will play the devil's advocate and say that the Vera fight was a while back and was still pretty soon after his motorcycle accident. Even a hater has to realize he wasn't really in shape at that point.
