Nope I'm just not a fan

I see no point in it .You get nothing if your team wins and just get pissed if they lose,same with being a fight fan. If I win I get money and tomorrow I can root for a different team.Doesnt bother me one bit to root for the Lakers today and Boston tomorrow if I had bet them.

I see not committing to teams/fighters like not committing to people.

No one wants to get hurt. But to deny yourself the lows the defeat, is also to deny yourself the highs of victory. It sounds a lot like not committing yourself to a person in your life because you're afraid they'll disappoint you and you'll get hurt.

Well we're opposites though man. I'm not a fan but am committed to my lady and your are a fan but arent committed to anyone at the moment so I really dont what you said is true.

Is not like I dont root for anyone I'm just not a fan of any certain team. Like right now I want Boston to win the finals but if they dont I'm not going to care because it doesnt mean anything to me

I have to have some real connection with a team for me to care about them. I am a Colts fan, because I live in Indiana. But when the lose (which is not very often lately) I don't get too upset. I was going to games back when they were terrible, so I have my perspective. Also I just don't have any real connection.

In college sports, I have to have gone to the school for me to really care. Since the schools I went to are not athletic powerhouses, I rarely have a rooting interest. But when my school was on the Sweet 16 a few years back, I was into it.

With MMA, I am more loyal. Most of the guys I am a fan of are guys I have met and trained with, so there is a definate connection. Other guys, I just glom onto them because I followed them. I rarely become a fan because of the style of the fighter. I just pick like 1 guy in each weight class and support them regardless. I never bet against them. It helps keep me interested.

How can you guys not like sushi j/k? Have you ever tried it ? Most people that say they dont like have never even tried it because they think it sounds gross.

Sushi rolls arent all raw meat.Alot of themare cooked

I've tried it several times.

Everybody that eats it think their particular shithole that serves it is 'OMG the best sushi EVER' and it all tastes the same to me. Completely inedible. Plus the tuna they use for sushi has high mercury content so maybe that accounts for why you guys are so dumb sometimes.

I think a lot of it is similar tasting.. but there is definitely a difference between the rolls you get on the chinese buffet and the rolls from a real sushi place. But most people that don't like it just had some california rolls or something. You can get it will all sorts of crap on it, crab lumped on top, temura shrimp in it, lots of sauces and what not... I didn'y care for it until all of the sudden I had some good sushi.

I would never even think about trying to make it at home though.

I am not into self torture. So i never punish myself into an "acquired taste." If I dont like it, I am done with it forever. I have never had a beer, it tastes like piss water to me.
