No not quite. I listen to mostly new wave of thrash and thrash in general. Pretty much any metal save for nu-metal or metalcore. We've had this discussion before haven't we?

I don't get caught up musical elitism, though. If I think it sounds good, I'll listen to it. I have everything from Britney Spears and Madonna to Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach to Megadeth and Judas Priest in my collection.

I also try not to disrespect people's taste. Granted, I would never understand why someone would listen to Garth Brooks, but if that's their thing, I'll roll with it. I guess this comes from years of listening to music and expanding my musical horizons. I listen to a lot of shit today that 10 years ago I'd have never been caught dead with. So it's all good.

I have a decent range. I used to listen to all rock/metal.

Now I've got some pop, some rap, some blues, some electronica. . .

I used to never listen to shit like BB King or Stevie Ray Vaughn. Or Stevie Nicks. Or The Like.

Even my rock collection was fairly limited. I didn't really get into old-school artists like Priest or Iron Maiden, but I got that too now.

That's in addition to hard-to-classify shit like Ween or Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
