I can see Cain winning this but I was hoping the line would move more towards +200 before I put a bet in. Hopefully it will, but it is not shaping up like it.
Cain's line is about where it started. It's a little better at Bodog and Bookmaker but the same everywhere else. I am hoping that the big money is coming in this week and that more of it will end up on Brock.
Some bettors were probably holding off on betting UFC 121 until this one gets out of the way. That is how I usually operate.
Cain has a little more experience than Brock. Not that much though. Cain started in 2006, brock in 2007. Cain has 8 fights, Brock has 6.
You cant measure experience by number of fights imo.
Yeah, amount of time spent training and trying to improve counts for just as much. You can hop in and out of the ring without training half as much as the guy next to you if you want.
Brocks camp is also full of wrestlers and always has been. That is a plus for him exp wise. He might have more hours in working with wrestlers than Cain.
I actually want the line to drop some. If it does I'm taking Brock
Heh you usually have the right side of the line with Brock. I had Carwin last time, you had Brock. This time I will probably be on Cain. Cain by decision was at +900 or so before the line took a hit. I think it's quite possible to. I think Brock's cardio will be better than people think it will be. On top of that, I don't think Cain is likely to KO Brock. Carwin couldn't do it, if that guy can't knock you out I don't know who can. He railed Brock, and Brock was smiling at the beginning of the next round.
I only see Cain winning by outpointing him standing and maybe some Wrestling control in the later rounds. I wouldn't be shocked to see Cain submit Lesnar but it would have to be at a point where Lesnar is beat up/tired.

then you were on the right side, right side doesnt always win tho. And the only reason carwin could not ko brock in round 1 was because he was gassing rapidly and had an adrenaline dump. If those things did not happen brock would have got his head smashed in for another round. Anything that happened in round 2 is irrelevant for capping any of brock's future matchups. After gassing in round 1, carwin was clearly useless in round 2, his attempt to stuff the TD was clearly evident of that.
